open up your hood, look towards your left hand side near the shock mount. you will see a single BLUE wire in a black rubber cap. use this wire. this is a tach diagnostic plug for dealers.

to program tach

1) start car and let it reach idle
2) press and hold brakes
3) hold the remote start button on the 2way until it beeps, tach is now programmed.

thank you, but the problem im having is that when i go to learn the tach, the tach doesn't learn, and the parking lights flash 3 times the once, meaning that option 2-10 isnt in the default setting 1, then i program option 2-10 to setting 1, and i go to learn the tach again, i get the same issue

do what was said above, the single plug with the blue wire in it, is the one you need

program tach and you should be good to go

look in your insatllation guide how to set the unit back to default. when entering program mode, sit inside the car and make sure you hear clicks. each click will indicate what program option your on. its easier just to reset the unit. hope this helps. good luck

with two way remotes

press (1 + 2) for 3 seconds or until you hear a click from the unit
press (1 + 2) for 3 seconds or until you hear a click from the unit again

tap button 3 three times (wait for unit to click or see the parking light flash between each tap)

lights will then flash and siren chirps 3 times. if your siren is not hooked up, just hear for 3 clicks from the module. the unit is now reset in taht option menu group

start the car and let it idle, hold brakes and press the start button to learn tach again.

from what i remember, it was a negative trigger at the clutch switch. always verify with meter.

as i stated, i dont remeber exactly if it was a negative trigger. you need to verify with a meter. if it is negative

85 - ground when running
86 - constant12v
87 - ground
30 - to wire at clutch that shows ground when depressed.
