Hi All

Can anyone tell me what the wire color are for Aux 1 and Aux 2 on a CM 5000, I see programing is in option group 4 but I do not see any wire designation in the manual.

Thanks.

aux 1 - WHITE (-) pin 15
aux 2 - VIOLET (-) pin 17

default settint is horn. so go into programming and change it for your application.

Thanks, I did notice that my remote does not show aux when I tap the button so I will need to change in programming I will assume. On programming, I know the buttons on the remote will give me access to the program groups are there any other things I need to do to get into programming (like ground hood pin or valet mode)

no need for opeing up the hood, valet etc. just use the 2way remote and follow the sequence. The reason you are not gettting the AUX-01 on the remote, press button 4, then press button 2 in order to activate aux 1. this is just a preventative measure for accidental presses. you can disable this function in the menu.

with the remotes, you should be able to access all menus and do simple changes. the only things you wont be able to change are the (POS) settings, thats where the OP500 comes into play. Make sure you hear clicks from the unit in between steps. once your in that specific menu, wai tto hear X amount of clicks to verify you are in the correct menu.

You need an OP500 to program your auxillaries.
