I have just got a car alarm with remote start for my 1990 Mercedes 230E (W124). The model badged a Right Click AL60-RENG, but is made by Victor which is a VT200-SN. The instructions that came with it are fairly vague, and I am unsure to a few of the connections. Is there anyone who can help with the following. I have included a copy of the wiring diagram. I also downloaded the not so clear installation instructions from here https://www.rclick.co.uk/information.php?info_id=1

I have worked out that the existing door switches connect to the driver door - cable (Blue), would I also need to make a connection to RED / black cable marked interior light -. and if so would I have to run it to the back light aswell as it is independantly controlled.

What would I connect to the WHITE/ black cable marked start +. It says on the sheet to connect WHITE/ black to positive of battery indicator on dash. What would this be for. I am certain that it is not the cable that remotely starts the engine as is a very thin gauge wire, I am sure that this is taken care of by the heavy green cable marked  +12v Start.

Where would I connect the blue cable marked 12Von (2nd).

The white cable marked +12V40A air conditioning, I assume that this could bring on the cars heater fan, my car does not have air con, where would I connect this to make the fan run at full speed.

Do you like your car? Then throw this away, the unit will NOT work there's no proper tach sensing facility, you need a hood (bonnet) switch input, front doors, rear doors and trunk and if I remember the trunk switch needs to be inverted. rear door switches can be picked up at the dash (centre console switch),, also there's a total (comfort) close wire separate to the locking system. Basicly you're wasting your time, there are also at least 2 ignitions on that vehicle.

Thanks for the advice, can it be installed without connecting the remote start, as it was just an additional feature which I am not too bothered about. What connections should I not connect to disable this feature.

No don't even bother with it as an alarm, it and it's similar Chinglish buddies will just not work, also though easy to me because I've done loads of 124s it certainly ISN'T a DIY job.
