Yes, it will work and I would suggest using the 5.PKTI V1.02 firmware.  No wires to cut and all done at the steering column.

Are you sure?

They don't show anything about that firmware here:
https://xpressdownload.com/manual.aspx?p=346

I've always found the XK05 in a Toyota to be the most ridiculous thing, especially when Fortin and ADS have solutions that don't involve running wires all over the car and under the glove box and under the hood.

Chris,  I agree with you on the XK05 with the PKT2 firmware.  Installation with that was horrible!  The new 5.PTKI V1.02 install wiring is similar to the iDatalink.  No wires to cut, no security light to override and all done in the steering column.  It's a vast improvement.  I did a couple of Toyotas last week using the XK05 and .5PTKI combo and it went very smoothly.
