Hello,
Ok, I've installed an Avital 5303 alarm/remote start combo in a 2010 F150 successfully. Everything works as it should with no problems, except in the event that I do not drive away after remote starting. If the vehicle times out or I kill the remote start, the radio continues to play. I realize that I can pulse a - on the door trigger to turn it off, but that would set off the alarm as well. Anybody have any thoughts about how to get around this? Thank you in advance for your help.
Shaun

Pulsing the drivers door pin will not trigger the Avital alarm, and it is the correct way to shut down the Retained Acc Power. The alarm is designed to ignore a pulse on the door trigger input when the remote start shuts down.
