i have a question to those who know about car security questions..  i have been to a hand full of car stereo / alarm shops in my area.  i was wondering, i saw the autopage 750lcd at one of those shops..  i was pretty impressed by it.  i went to another shop to compare pricing and the guy at the shop said that autopage alarms are crap..  i was wondering if this is true or just an attempt to sell me on the alarms that he stocked...  please give me the best advise so i can make the best decisions...

if auto page is crap, what brand alarms do you suggest

thank you,  idg4ever ... claremont, ca

most likely a bit of both, i've installed a few autopage alarms, biggest problem i've had is hooking them up to the door locks, almost always needed some sort of extra relays to make it work

I've done a few Autopage systems and the only thing I didn't like was the programming portion. The wiring is no different than any of the other systems that I've worked with. Basic wires like power, ground, IGN, ACC, etc.....

I've installed a lot of Autopage systems. Only had one problem so far(on my 505). I have never installed a 750LCD though, people like the pager unit, but Autopage only gives you one pager. Do a search on this forum for the 750LCD; I notice a lot of posts about it but never bother to read them.

I asked that same question on here and JRILLA from this site, suggested that I look at the commando FM760.  Virtually the same thing as the autopage. I just finished installing my commando and it works fine and the distance that it works is incredible. www.commandocaralarms.com
