Installed Ford/CodeAlarm remote start on 2003 F250 6.0 diesel and currently utilize the available 30 sec delay system program option to provide the glow plug delay.  This new engine has "rapid start" glow plugs.  That coupled with the normal Texas heat this truck will see, results in the 30 seconds being big time overkill.

I have seen use of the wait-to-start light as an input to faciliate actuial delay required.  What is the suggested/required circuit design incorporating the wait-to-start light for providing actual required delay.
