Hi All.  I think I might have screwed the pooch with this one.  I managed to install one of these on my 06 silverado and I though I'd help install one on my brothers car.  It was working fine and I was trying to get the rs installed.  I connected the last wire which was the H2/18 blk/wht to the green red e-brake wire and then is when I smelled something.  Now the remote won't work and the command center light does nothing.  The running lights are on constantly and nothing else works.  I think I might have burned out the brain.  Looks like I'm going to have to buy a new one for him.  Do they sell just the brain?  What did I do wrong?  Thanks for you help

The first thing I noticed was your black white dome supervision, should have joined it to H1/8 green. Also your constant at H1/12 red should have been diode split to a constant 12v+ feed as well.

Thanks Howie II.  I'm going to try that in a bit.

I tried it.  But still the same.

It looks like the running lights stay on.  The acc is on and if i push the clutch in, it starts.  Pushing any of the buttons on the decoder does nothing.  Command center light does not come on at all nor does pushing/holding the button do anything.

I got a new one so I'm going to try this again.

So the h1/green will have the h1/black white dome and the - door trigger and the white: blue wire all connected together?

The h1/12 should have a constant 12v feed going to it as well as the grey wire from battery backup?

Thanks so much for your help!!!

H1/8 green and H1/9 black white join both to the GREEN/ red NOT the WHITE/ blue.
H1/7 Blue trunk trigger where does this go to on the dash? I hope it's the wire that goes to ground when the trunk is opened, should also be in the vicinity of the fuse box, at least that's where it is on British/Japanese R/hand drive versions.

Do the H1/8 green and H1/9 black white need to be diode isolated?

I put the blue wire behind the dash. It's the one that turns on the the dash light got the trunk. I can relocate by the fuse box.

Your blue is correct, other two don't need diode isolating.

I think I made a slight error, if your dome light supervision is working, fine if not H1/9 Black white goes through a relay (to boost its 200ma current output) as follows:
BLACK/ white H1/9 to 85.
Constant 12V+ 5amp fused to 86.
Good ground to 30.
Join to H1/8 green at 87.
1N4004 diode across 85 and 86, band towards 86.

I'll check to see if it is working.  If not, it's ok.   I don't need it that bad.

Can you verify that these connections are ok?  I'm not to sure on the H3/1 and H3/6.
