Just installed autopage remote start/alarm model #c3-rs730 with idat-link ads-dl. Everything is wired but the only problem is the security light stays on after remote start. and truck is running.
If I start the truck just with key everything is fine no security light but while running if I use the pit stop feature the security light comes on again but the truck stays running.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Was the ADS DL flashed with the ADS DL GM4 Ver 3.6 firmware? Did you connect both the remote start and the ADS DL to the trucks Igniton and Accessory wires?
I think I would try a Factory Reset on the ADS DL, then set the mode and then re-program it to the truck. I did a 2005 Colorado using an ADS DL last week ( because it had the factory alarm ) and everything went smoothly.

Soldering is fun!
Relocate the ground on the remote starter. Chances are you have high resistance compared to the battery. I've had lots of trouble like this on Chevy's and relocating the ground fixes the problem every time.

Yes the ADS DL was flashed and yes the ignition and accessory wires are connected. I have also done factory reset on ads-dl and even the remote start.
I just did a 2008 Canyon about 4 weeks ago with exact same system and it's working fine no issues no security light staying on. That's why I'm stumped.

Thanks for the tip I will give this a try also, when I get the truck back in the next couple of days.
