I'm trying to install the trunk release of a honda accord 2000 ex. I'm not sure where the "kick panel" is. Can someone tell me how to do the wiring? I bought the relay but I'm not too sure what to do.

Thanks!!!!!!!

The Trunk release is a WHITE/ Red wire in the Drivers Kick Panel.  That is the plastic panel under the dash and just forward of the drivers door. (  Some cars have the Parking Brake assy there. )

The relay changes the Cliffords (-) Trunk Release output to a (+) signal that the car needs.  Wire as follows.

Relay Pin 86 and 87 to +12v thru a 10 amp fuse.

Relay Pin 85 to the Clifford (-) Trtunk Release

Relay Pin 30 to the Accords WHITE/ Red wire.

Relay Pin 87a is not used - insulate the wire.

Not to release / open the trunk lid.  If the Clifford unit is an alarm system, then connect that as a trunk status input to monitor the trunk.
