i have a 2004 chevy 2500hd automatic and i installed a avital 5303 and i have a omega immobilizer. when i first installed the remote start it would crank up and then die right as it tried to start. then i put the omega immobilizer on and now all it does is crank and crank and crank i have soldered all main connections and tec connections, check connections atleast 5 times a peace. i have went over and over and over this thing for the last 4 days and cannot fig out whats wrong. i have changed it from volatge sence to tak to just crank and no luck still does the same thing it just cranks. but when i unplug the immobilizer it tries to start and then dies right before it starts any ideas on whats wrong ?

Dont remember which one...but either the 2nd ignition OR the 2nd accessory MUST be hooked up.  If not it will cause all kinds of problems.....

Sounds like a bypass problem.

Which Omega Passlock2 bypass did you use?

Did the bypass module program as per the istructions?

Did you have to cut the Passlock2 Yellow wire as part of the install?

Was the truck having starting problems before the install?

Possibly a dumb question, but what firmare do you have flashed on the IM01?  It looks like AMDL v6.00 is the correct and latest version.

When programming the bypass, at Step 3 did you set the module to Type 4 ( 4 blinks ) and start the truck with the key?

My next step would be to re-flash the IM01 and do the programming over again.  And, while it is a bunch of wires, I would switch over the W2W mode.

i did wire to wire allready and still did the same thing. i took the module bak yesterday and traded it out new one did the same. and i looked on my programer (hyper tech hyper pack) its showing a DTC code 1631

Well, we are on the right track.  It is a Passlock2 error.

P1631 Theft Deterrent System Password Incorrect

Does everything else work?  The doors, parking lights, etc.  I would go back to W2W mode and verify the GWR signal is there during a remote start.  ( Maybe even just connect the Brown wire to chassis ground at the same time as I hit the start button.)

Hard to believe you have 2 bad IM01 modules.  What happens when you try to re-program the module?  Does it flash 4 times at Step 2?

yeah i know i have spent a week trying to get this figured out its got me puzzled lol. but yeah every thing else works and i did exactly what u said went w2w and then hit the chassis ground (omega tech support told em to try that) and yeah the light flashes 4 times.

When you get to Step 4, did you try holding the key in the Start position for several seconds?  Guess thats why I prefer iDatalink modules.

Here is another thought.  Have you tried the old "Relays and resistor" method of bypassing the Passlock2?

Here is a link to the  AudioVox instructions :  https://documents.audiovox.com/700054.pdf   I am sure Omega has it also.  You have the DMM, all you need is a couple of relays and the resistor.  ( The 3rd Ignition is just (-) Status Output.  If you share GWR between the IM01 and the Relays, diode isloate.)
