I'm installing a Viper 5901 into my Nissan 350Z. On the Main Heavy gauge (H3) 10 pin connector the Pink/White wire is supposed to be installed to the second starter wire. My car definitely does not have a second starter wire. So my question is where do I hook up the Pink/white wire? I'm not sure this is needed however everything on my alarm is working with the exception of remote start. I'm trying to eliminate everything and am stumped at this point.

If you don't have a Starter2, then this Viper output won't be used. ( It appears your car has only one Ignition wire and one Accessory wire.) Most wire guides do list two Starter wires. Did you check the ignition switch harness ( sometimes they aren't all heavy gauge wires ) ?

What year is your 350Z ? Almost all Nissans have a second starter that is energized during cold conditions to help the car start up.
Second Starter / WHITE/ green / + / Ignition Harness
All 350Z 2003-2009 have the same second starter wire listed above.
As for your no remote start conditions, make sure the thin BLACK/ white wire is grounded, and also make sure you have the toggle switch installed, or cut the toggle switch off, solder the two wires together and plug it in. The default setting is set to Manual transmission mode, if you have an automatic change it to automatic.

Thanks. My 350z is a 2003 and it definitely does not have a second start wire. I think this was the case for early production 2003's I will double check the other wires you suggested.

I only have four wires. Most wiring diagrams list a green and a WHITE/ green. Mine is like this.
WHITE/ red. Starter
BLACK/ red. Ignition
WHITE/ blue constant 12v
WHITE/ black accessory

I could really use some help here I have a VIPER remote start hooked to a G35 2005.
I am aware of the 2nd start wire and have it connected via the flex relay. I also hooked up a test light to the second start wire (which comes on when I remote start the car).
Problem is the car still won't COLD start remotely even though the test light shows juice from the second start wire.............or is the only reason the light comes on is due to feedback???????
Any suggestions????? I do have the flex relay programed as a second start as well.

I just pulled the wire coming from the viper to the second start wire to ensure juice was being sent out from the viper. The viper is outputting the second start juice..........so why O why won't my car cold start remotley since the viper is putting out second start 12volts????????? Is this a timing issue??????? Any advice? ------------- G-35 & FJ Cruiser Remote Start Viper 5301 & Pyton 4203--Alpine touchscreen A/V system w/Camera, Sat radio, SWI

To Hilock :
It might be better if you started your own post on your 2005 G35 problem.
Please list all your H3 connections.
Assuming you are using the FLCAN as the bypass, what firmware and version? Please list your FLCAN connections. Did it program properly?
