hello i am installing a prostart 2 way remote starter with ads-al-ca64 idatalink bypass unit. i got it all wired up as per the instructions the car will not remote start. the security system cuts off the engine, if i put the key in the ignition and try to remote start it work. can some help me with this? when i bought the bypass unit the store programmed it for my car...   also the power door locks do not work with the remote start key fob...

The store just loaded the ADS AL CA with the correct firmware, probably ADS AL(DL) HA.   It still needs to have the Installation Mode set and then the bypass needs to be programmed to the car. ( I believe that the Prostart is one way D2D compatible with the iDatalink bypass module and must be programmed.  If you have the Prostart 3271 it's Mode 1, Function 6, Option 2 going by the manual available at their web site. )

hello thanks for the help. i had to set the bypass type in the remote starter to ads, it was on xpresskit but default mode 4 function 4 then option 1 is ads option 2 is xpresskit and option 3 is fortin so i put i on option 1 and it works fine now.. thanks
