Hello
I'm having a problem with my clifford 850. Its been fine over the 4 years I've had it, but today the car is refusing to start.
It won't go into Valet, even via the plain view switch. the immobiliser does kick in within 30 seconds of disarming, and the led flashes normally.
I looked at the diagnostics and led shows 7 flashes which means ignition input.
Can anyone guide me as to what could be wrong?
System arms & disarms as normal, but wont go into Valet or let me start the car.
Could the relay controlling the ignition in the module have gone faulty?
Also disconnected battery but no luck
Any reply appreciated.
Thank you.

Look at H3/3 and H3/4 the ignition immobiliser wires, make sure there is juice on both on ignition with the alarm turned off, if not, join together.

Amateurs assume, don't test and have problems; pros test first. I am not a free install service.
Read the installation manual, do a search here or online for your vehicle wiring before posting.
Thanks for your quick reply Howie,
Infact it was you that gave me all the help to Install it in the first Place! Its a Ford Focus ST170.
Ok, I'LL take a look at the ignition wires of the module & see if there is power to the wires
When you say no power join together, do you mean join together the H3/3 & H3/4 & also reconnect the car's ignition wire back together & basically Bypass the Ignition circuit?
Also why will it not go into Valet?

That's the clue. It won't go into valet because it's not getting ignition into the alarm!
Yes I remember your name but not the car, yet I loved ST170s

Ok, so thats why valet ain't working. Cool thanks for that info Howie, will have a look to see whats up.
Just to get a better Idea, could the problem be with the ignition system of the car itself? i.e loose/broken connectiuon? or could it be the internal relay withing the alarm module. I remember soldering all the connections, did'nt use any crimps etc.
Thanks again for your help, So far the alarm has been great.
