Hello all,
I have a guy that wants me to install an alarm/remote start and a cd player in his 94 mercedes c280. I've heard that they are very hard to put remote starts on. Is there anything special that I need to know before I jump on this? Also, it's been impossible for me to find a head unit wiring harness for this car. Will I need to just solder extensions from the wires on the factory harness or is there another way. I really do not want to cut the factory harness off, but I'm sure it will be difficult to solder that close to the dash. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Ignition 12 volts PINK/RED IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
Starter VIOLET IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
Dome Light FRONT - BROWN / GRAY REAR - BROWN / GRAY / YELLOW DOTS BOTH(-)
Trunk Pin Switch BROWN / YELLOW/VIOLET (-) TRUNK PIN SWITCH OR TRUNK LIGHT
Parking Lamp DRIVER - GRAY/WHITE PASS. - GRAY AT HEADLIGHT SWITCH (+)*
Power Lock BLACK DRIVER KICK #201
Power Unlock BLUE PANEL

* Split Parking Light System- Use Two S.P.D.T. Relays Or Two 6 Amp Diodes To Isolate. #201- See Negative Pulse Door Lock Diagram

Tach Signal GREEN/ YELLOW CONNECTOR TO LEFT OF BRAKE PEDAL
