my Civic has a compustar CM6200 remote start. The installer has wired the key accesories (acc) position to have power all the time for the heater blower. I prefer to have only heater power with key in 'on' popsition. Any idea how it was done? I would like to power the acc with the white wire from the cm6200, when remote starting, the way it should be.
anyone know how the blower got wired to run in acc key position?

I've seen some lazy installers in the past but this one is over the top! I'm guessing they connected the two accessories together? Get your money back? Who knows what other shortcuts they took.

X2 with beegbie.  Take a close look at the CM6200 CN1 connector.  The White wire should be connected to only the Civics Orange Accessory wire at the ignition harness.  Very possible they connected to both accessory wires, Orange and Red, causing the problem you are experiencing when using the key in the ACC position.

The CM6200 only has one Starter, one Ignition and one Accessory output at CN1.  The correct way to power additional ignition wires is with external relays controlled by signals from CN3.  Your Civic has one Ignition, one Starter and two Accessory wires.

The other possibility, if you find an external relay connected to ACC1, Orange, is that they miswired the CN3 control wire for the relay.  It should go to CN3, Pin 9, WHITE/ Red wire ( not CN3, Pin 7, Green, which is IGN2 ).

beegbie x3 Get your money back. This kind of amateur installation modifies the way the car works without the remote start and it should not.
