wire my windows to operate even with the ignition off?

This is just a guess but, if you send constant power to that circuit it may not be the only accessory active or may "Bleed" into other circuits and cause a drain on the battery. Why do this?

cause I hate putting the key in to roll em up/down..

I just finished.. I cut the existing window power wire, so no backfeed problems..

any other concerns? thanks :)

Haha, that's awesome....that sounds like a question I would have asked posted_image In the same respect, why are the headlights wire to 12v constant. Wouldn't things be easier if they were wired to 12v Switched, so they wouldn't (couldn't) be left on with the car off?

I also hate having to put the key back in cause your passenger forgets to roll up their window...

This got me thinking of the "Radio On Until Door Opened" located here: https://www.the12volt.com/relays/page5.asp#drto 

This may be a cool alternative to those people thinking that their battery will drain.

Perhaps they are switched for security reasons.

Without an alarm it would be real easy to use a wire to roll down the window.
