I am installing python1401 and dball on my 2011 sonata se w/smartkey (d2d mode)

It is working fine withour engine start.

What is the problem? I think I didn't connect a tach wire. Can it be the problem?

Yes.  You have to hardwire the tach wire in the newer Kia's.

On vehicles with Smart Key, can also use green (except hybrid), GREEN/ black (hybrid) in the driver kick, white 43 pin plug, pin 4.
