Hello, I have a python 991. This morning I remote started and can't shutdown the engine, even with my key removed, pressed the brake, or open the hood. The only way was disconnecting the the remote from the battery. But when I tried to reconnect the power source, it started up the vehicle and stay on. Also, I can't use the button on the control center. Is there any way to physically reset the remote starter? thanks. ------------- The Broken Link

Did you install it? If so, pull the fuses from the heavy gauge wires and the H1 harness if it also has a fuse.

Yes, I pulled out all the fuses. Also, pulled out the whole unit and the bypass. I reconnected it back earlier without the bypass and nothing happened until I put in the key (without turning), the lights turn and everything, like it about to start. I'll leave the unit out over night and hope the starter will discharge (if anything in there) and reset itself. And yes, I read the instruction

What year, make and model of vehicle is it installed in? And what model of Bypass?
And what wires from the Python are connected to what on the vehicle.

I got a Wrangler unlimited 2010
Bypass and firmware
DB-ALL- 401.CHRYSLER v3.10 http://www.xpresskit.com/VehicleCompatibility.aspx?p=null&year=2010&make=Jeep&model=Wrangler%20Unlimited&ps=1&s=0
I connected everything in the diagram installation-Type 3
Beside the yellow/black RAP off - from the bypass ---- Don't know what it is and the starter worked for for week without it
and the handbreak status input --- I connected to the ground (didn't work when I connected to bypass)
My starter might have burnt out
Thank You. ------------- The Broken Link

It is to "simulate" opening the door when the remote start shuts down to turn off the accessories. R.etained A.ccessory P.ower

The factory disarm can only be controlled through the factory remote. There is no way to hardwire it as it is all data controlled. The DB-ALL should control the factory arm/disarm. Do you have it connected D2D or W2W? You may have a bad bypass. If so I would recommend going with an idatalink or Fortin bypass. They seem to be more reliable.
Idatalink bypasses:
ADS-ALSL CH or ADS-DLSL CA2
Fortin Bypass:
Evo-CHR (be sure to have it pre-flashed with the correct firmware).
You can also pick up the THAR-CHR2 T-harness which makes it a 10minute install... makes life extremely easy.
