hello i got a used recently and it has the viper 5109 everything works, fine. i would like to have the ignition lock feature work. it only lock after the key is had been turned on but does not unlock once the key is turned off. i downloaded the install guide for, i followed the instructions on how to set it, but still does not work. i entered, menu-1, feature-5 option-2. that's what it shows for the system. any help will be appreciated. it seems like ti goes to the default option to just lock and not unlock. perhaps it is not saving the option?

Try pressing the lock button engaging option 1. It's the reverse but I noticed this works on certain DEI keyless/remote start systems.
