Do I really need the Mercedes EIS removal tool?

If you are really careful, you don't have to. Just remove the trim around the gauges and the trim piece above the steering column.

With both removed, you can see the back of the EIS and access the wiring harness to make your connections.

Yeah I seen the photo step by step for the GLK . Is there any class you absolutely need it?
