Sorry guys, Im thinking of buying another vehicle for the winter, i was thinking a 2011 suzuki grand vitara, to install with a solace car starter or maybe a ultrastart?

Are ultrastart a good car starter? Trying to decide what to buy, and get installed?

I believe Solace is made by the same as Titan.

If you are asking these questions then you probably know the answer. As in if you are asking because you have never heard of them then either they are new to the market which could go either way or no one uses them because they are not good.
I would recommend Encore.

The Solace system has alot of installer friendly features and is capable of RS232 with all major brand bypass modules. I've installed this before and they're not too bad. They're not made by Titan or affiliated with them either.

If it's Canadian designed AND Canadian made then it should be OK.

Amateurs assume, don't test and have problems; pros test first. I am not a free install service.
Read the installation manual, do a search here or online for your vehicle wiring before posting.

Solace is a B&B Electronics child, same company that develops Titan. I personally avoid anything Titan related or repairing anything Titan related, which sucks becuase the previous manager here insisted the previous installer use Titan.

I have heard they are pretty decent though, and are quite a step up from Titan. And they are supposed to be idatalink 2-way capable.
