hello everyone, how do i know if i download the correct firmware for flashlogic flcan. 2011 dodge ram 1500, aps787c, flcan for remote start. i have 5 choices and narrowed it down to 2 due to tipstart model.

thank you. im having trouble reading what size diode on  type 2 wiring diagram. from 1st ignition input (+) after that fuse? any suggestion?

It is listed as a 1N4001, but any commonly available ( 1N4004 or 1N4007) diode will work fine.

wow, this is so confusing. hardest remote start w/ security yet. everything on the audiovox tech services diagram says, do not use for remote start. i was thinking easy after that honda i did. says i need just five wires from the vech but everything for the alarm side says i cannot use for remote start. lost...

ok im taking my time and soldering everything using the hard wire type 2 diagram. does anybody have any tips or shortcuts to help me out here. ty

It is confusing but all in all, it makes the remote start install very easy.  Here is a link to a

The major differences will be your brand of remote start system and the vehicle wire
color and locations.  The Pictorial was done in W2W mode whereas yours will be in
D2D mode.  Not many wires to connect, it is all done thru the CAN bus.
