Brand new to these forms, as I'm about to install a viper 5704 system, and things seem fairly straight forward so far. A bunch of great information here and it has really helped me understand the alarm/remote start integration.

As it stands, I have a set of air horns that are wired to their own button (separate from my horn). The ultimate end state of this project, aside from the remote start feature, is to be able to honk the air horn via an aux channel on the viper AS WELL AS install a 3-way toggle switch so that I can honk either my factory horn or the air horns with my normal horn switch/steering wheel.

I think I have the wiring/relay situation figured out with relationship to the viper, but I'm having difficulty trying to integrate the 3-way toggle switch. Not too sure if I need any diodes within this system to keep 12v from running up any wires it doesn't need to be.

I'm trying to put together a diagram, but it's just turning out to be a mess of lines and uncertainty. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I found this handy online circuitlab deal, and tried to create what I want to do. Here's the diagram that I made where Horn2 is the factory horn/relay combo and Horn1 is my add-on.

I think I have the toggle switch done right and hopefully I can just flip between being able to use Horn1 and Horn2 (using the steering wheel horn to activate). The H2/7 wire is going to the Aux 1 wire on my Viper 5704 unit.

Any issues with this?

Damn. Final redo. I started to look at this and noticed a couple issues. Besides, no need for a 3-way switch when I just need one or the other.
