For some reason i cannot get this unit to program to this car, the orange light flashes fast only and diagnostics sheet is saying to check the j1850, which is hooked up to the purple wire?

any ideas?

What is an SX? Auto or Manual?

SX 2.0 is what the Dodge Neon was sold as in the Canadian market for the '04 and '05 model years....djc75, based on the minimal information given in your post, check that you have the violet / YELLOW wire (14 pin plug)of the DB-ALL going to pin 2 of the OBD diagnostic plug (left side under dash, can't remember the color offhand) Also, as smokeman says, more information would certainly be helpful for troubleshooting!
