I've installed a DEI 545T NITE LITE SYSTEM in my 4WD,the manual stats that it can be optionally configured for the headlights to come on and off when the system is armed and disarmed, but for the life of me I can not find any information on this anywhere, I've just spent the last 6 hours googling and nothing appart from it being an optional feature, same as the orange wire being an optional featured to connect to my alarm, I have connected it, and can turn my headlights on and off via my remote on AUX 1. Do I make these changes using a bitwriter? there is no info out there, on how to do it let alone doing it via a bitwriter.Any healp would be appreicated even if just pointing me in the right direction...

Thanks in advance

What remote start/alarm system are you using?

I take it you want the headlights to come on when you lock/unlock the system.
I think what you are looking for is linking AUX 1 with lock/unlock. This is in Menu 2, Item 10, option 4. You should be able to set this with your remote and control center button, (antenna) without the need for a BitWriter.
