A few months ago installed a Compustar alarm/remote start(CM5000) with Fortins Evo All with CHR3 t harness on a 2011 Dodge Journey PTS .
Issue is when remote starting alarm chirps 3x followed by 2 light flash(key in on position)
I have started with each component changing one at a time even it now has a newer CHR6 t harness with new Evo all with latest firmware.
If Evoall is used as a stand alone remote start, everything is fine but just because of alarm added in so have to use combo unit, thats when Compustar unit sees something and gives 2 light flash.(in Data link)
i dont know what else to try and have talked to both Firstech and Fortin Tech support but nothing has resolved.
I have even changed the 1amp diode on the ignition wire.
Any feedback with similar issues with be very much appreciated

Which alarm is triggering, the factory or the Compustar?

If it's the Compustar, it should hopefully have a way of telling the customer what "zone" of the alarm was violated----door, shock sensor, ignition, et cetera. Try to see what that tells you.

There is no factory alarm and even compustar alarm works fine, issue is when remote starting (no start)3chirps are heard followed by 2 light flashes which in the manual says key in on position.
This vehicle has a push button start and proximity key is not even near vehicle when remote starting

The "key in ON position" is detected using the Ignition 1 wire. Can you verify this wire is where it needs to go? Also, do you have the diode installed in the right direction (common issue, don't feel bad)? The diode is isolating the output of the remote start from the input of the Evo All and the car.

No question is stupid or not worth asking. You were once a noob, right? :)

I took the pink/white wire in the driver kick panel and it tests exactly as fortin shows on its instructions with 1amp diode band side towards Compustars ignition wire

When you meter the wire, do you see a voltage?

Voltage only when ignition is on

Weird. Could be a bad brain or bypass. I'm out of ideas! Sorry!
