Hi
I installed a 5704 Viper and Dball using D2D in my 2009 Mazda 6 with push button start. This is the first time I'm doing such a work. I did electrical work before so I'm familiar with things, anyways the alarm part of the installation works doors, trunk, also, but the remote start would not work. There is no error code since the first two (safety switch ground, and switching to automatic from manual I eliminated. If I press the remote start the lights are flashing the doors are locking, and the remote says on and start counting down from 12 but the car would not start. I tried pressing the brake pedal then hit remote start and it works. I'm using Dball with firmware Mazda 1.10.14, any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

The heavy gauge RED / black from the viper needs to go to constant power. It powers h3/4 violet starter which goes to your brake connection. You need to push the brake to get the car to start and that's what you're simulating by putting the r/s starter wire to the brake but right now there is now power getting to it.

Thank you for the reply, I will do it on Saturday hopefully I will have better luck this time, one more thing do I also need to connect to 12V constant the H3/2 and H3/6?
