I have a 2003 Crown Victoria LX and have a Clifford Matrix model 10 security system.
I noticed that the flashing lights feature no longer works when arming and disarming via remote so I brought the control module down from under the dashboard and put a test light to the white wire from the CM and armed and disarmed it, the test light picked up nothing.
I then disconnected the white wire that led from the CM to the brown wire it was connected to where I assume is the headlight wire under the dash.
with white wire from CM connected to nothing I then put the test light on the white wire terminal and armed and disarmed it and the test light picked up a signal.
reconnected the white wire from CM back to the brown wire for headlights in the dashboard and tested for a signal on white wire on CM and no signal.
Interesting thing during me testing was when I armed and disarmed the CM would make clicking sounds whether the white wire was connected to the headlight brown wire or not.
what could be the problem?

Bad power feed: corrosion, oxidation, bad connection, or other high resistance in the circuit. A possible solution would be to put an external relay in to drive the parking lights.
