Can i take the remote starter,AVISTART 4103,from my old car and put it in my new one?

Yes, you might need new looms and a by-pass though. I've had a 5906 in three cars in the last month.

It is coming from a "2003" Ford focus, and going into a "2005" GMC Canyon. I purchase this for my mom a few years back,and she just scraped that and leased a new ride. Hate to throw it away. Hope I can figure out how to install it without screwing up my truck, I'm hoping I can get all the how to from this website,for this is not my trade. I was thinking of getting it installed,but money is tight,and no place is local.
