Hello all,

I have been trying to install the idata alca bypass module with my autopage 730 remote start.
I have a 2014 accord v6 coupe Push to start.
I have been following the type 2 install from https://cdncontent2.idatalink.com/corporate/Content/Manuals/DL-HA6/ADS-AL(DL)-HA6-EN_20140909.pdf

I can connect all wires needed, but the programming errors.

These are the steps I have been doing.
Flash ads firmware on bypass module (I have the cable)
connect bypass data cable to autopage slot
lock in 1 green flash for data 2-way
unplug the module
hold down button while plugging it back in (flashes red rapidly then stay red then goes off)
lock in the 1 green flash again
push the start button twice to on (not starting the car)
After that, it always flashes 3 times red fast when I turn on the ignition.

I have tried plugging the 1 white harness, and 1 black harness on the data module before locking in the 1 green flash, I have plugged them in after locking in the green flash.
No matter what I do, it always flashes red 3 flashes at a time.

I called idatalink, and the tech support guy said that the module is not communicating with the car by the BROWN / red BROWN / yellow etc... wires on the black plug. I have checked them, and they are hooked up. What am I missing??

Please help, anyone. I greatly appreciate it.

Rick

First double check the three wire connections to the CAN High, CAN Low and S-Net.  Verify the wire color and
location on the connector.  CAN High is Pink and should have the ADS BROWN / Red wire connected.  CAN Low is
Blue and should have the ADS BROWN / Yellow wire connected.  S-Net is Gray and should have the ADS ORANGE / Black
wire connected.  These connections should be soldered.

I am not an AutoPage user but believe that they use the standard ADS comm protocol ( not the DBI D2D
comm protocol ).  Being as the module is already flashed with the correct DL HA-6 firmware, perform the
Factory Reset procedure but after Step 5 wait an extra second and watch the LED.  It will start doing the
one green blink pattern.  Press and hold the button, the LED will go solid green for two seconds and then
go out, release the button.  Next reconnect the rest of the harnesses and go to Step 1 of the module
programming.

Soldering is fun!
