I have an Autostart AS-1775 that has a peculiar problem. I have it set to run the max 25 minutes runtime. The vehicle all works fine, (doors, lights, hood switch) except when it starts via remote, it runs for EXACTLY 2:30, then shuts off, then restarts and then runs for EXACTLY 2:30 again then shuts off then restarts, and once again runs for (You guessed it!) 2:30. It also does this if i reset the module back to factory. It doesn't have another remote nor is anyone touching the vehicle or remote. I am leaning towards the tach wire not seeing the correct reading but then again why is it running exactly 2 minutes and 30 seconds.

Suggestions?

Thanks!

List your vehicle type. If you haven't connected the violet wire to a tach source in the vehicle, do so. Then program Tach. If you are trying to use virtual tach (no tach wire connected), then this may be your problem. Some vehicles like Hyundai and Kia you cannot use virtual tach on them.

2010 Hyundai Santa Fe

It has the purple wire installed, but i will check the connection to make sure it hasn't come apart.

Checked wire, it was still fine. Did tach learn, worked like a charm. Thanks for the help!
