Hey everyone! I'm looking at installing into a 2009 Mazda 3 GT automatic sedan (no smart key or factory alarm). Shopping list is looking as follows:

Compustar RF-2WG9-SP
Compustar FT-6200S-CONT
Datalink Blade AL

I want to keep things as simple as possible. Lose the factory fobs and have door lock/unlock, remote start and trunk pop functionality on the new Compustar remotes. If I get the Blade AL programmed with the newest Mazda 3 firmware, how hard is this install? I've done numerous car audio installs, but never ventured into the remote start realm until now (unless I should consult a local pro). Thanks!

Blade AL is waste of money. Won't do anymore then the TB. Unless you need the telematics gateway. Only does transponder for both. Save some dollars and use the tb.

Doh.. I might as well use the newer FT-7200S-CONT and then just the Blade AL (thanks metz35). Looks like hardware will cost around $200.

The 7200S has internal relays so install is even easier, no?
