Do the door locks operate on a 2014 Optima with the regular key when it is running? Would like to install just a single button starter. Thanks for your time and have a Great Thanksgiving!!!!

Unfortunately, they do not.

So you could still install a 1-button with an unlock output, although I've always just installed a full aftermarket keyless/trunk/start system on these.
