I am installing a avital 4103 remote starter and a PKALL immobilizer override on a 1999 f150 4.6L
I wired it up and it cranks and will start the vehicle when the key is in the ignition and in the run position. With out the key it will only crank with the remote start. This truck has 3 ignition wires and the remote start only has 1 ignition wire hook up. I think I need to wire in a relay but i'm not sure how to do it. Also do I need 2 relays so all 3 ignition wires are activated ? My other question is which ignition wire to hook the PKALL to?

Also the PKALL requires a (-) while running (status) hook up to the remote start, I used the H1/4 White /blue wire on the remote start which says it is a (-) input set to 1 activation pulse.

I have installed 3 other remote starters but they had better instructions than the Avital. And I know Direct electronics only gives tech support to dealers.

I appreciate any HELP !!

Use the 4-pin satellite harness for the following:

Blue 2nd Status output = to PKALL ground when running (-) input. The wht/blu that you used is an activation input. Won't work for the PKALL, and you don't need it. Tape off the blu/wht.

Use the pink wire for a third IGN. Pink is a (-) trigger. Use a relay:
86 and 30 = Hot at all times. (Fused)
85 = pink pin 4 of satellite output.
87 = to 3rd Ignition.

Fix the PKALL GWA input first. That may be all you need.

You may not need to do anything further with the IGN circuits. The gry/yel does stuff that isn't necessary to power in an unoccupied vehicle. Airbags, trailer charge relay, electric shift T-case. The Lt blu / pink shows for anti lock brakes, and nothing else. Don't need that one either for RS. Power the RED / blk, and dk blu / lt green as IGN 1 & 2, and blk/lt green as ACCY and that should do it until key take-over.

I hear you on the instructions not being clear. All DEI instructions suffer from clunky translations to English from either Mandarin or Japanese, I'm not sure which.
