I am trying to program the remotes so they start the vehicle. I'm not sure why its not working. The led in the module doesn't come when i press the valet button and run through the remote program, so I am not sure what I am doing wrong.

double check your ignition to ensure it is infact an ignition wire.

Ok will do! also on primary harness there was a 12v wire on the older style harness where as this I dont see one should there be 12v connected to this harness? also is the yellow wire of this just another ignition wire that doesnt need to be hooked up?

Primary Harness (H1), 9-pin connector
H1/1 LIGHT GREEN BLACK (-) 200mA FACTORY ALARM DISARM OUTPUT
H1/2 GREEN / WHITE (-) 200mA FACTORY ALARM REARM OUTPUT
H1/3 YELLOW (+) IGNITION OUT (TO ALARM)
H1/4 WHITE/ BLUE (-) ACTIVATION INPUT
H1/5 ORANGE (-) 500mA GROUND WHEN LOCKED/ANTI-GRIND OUTPUT
H1/6 BROWN (-) 200mA HORN OUTPUT
H1/7 RED / WHITE (-) 200mA TRUNK RELEASE OUTPUT*

Ok, I checked the ignition and I am getting 12v at the pink wire of the harness with key turned to the last click. I also checked the starter (12v) when started and both the high current 12v inputs. all check out good. I have a good ground as well.

Is there something I am missing?

make sure the wire does not loose 12v when starting.

What is your process of programming? are you turning the ignition on, tapping the valet button once then pressing and holding?

Turns out it was a defective module. It was a refurb and was defective out of the box. I got a brand new one on the exchange and it works like it should.

Thanks for your help guys!

Does anybody know what the correct wire for accessory would be on a 93 dodge spirit? I checked ready remotes web site and it says its black, but the black wire in the ignition harness is ground.

Thanks
