I am looking to put a remote start into a 2014 Mazda CX9. I was looking at the Viper 4706v. I am open to recommendations on other systems, definitely looking for good range on whatever I get. Do not want the smart start using a cell phone because some areas I go don't have cell signal.

I also need to know what type of bypass unit I would need, it has the smart key. Thanks for any help.

This site helped me wire up a Caravan 10 years ago. I know the knowledge is here, and definitely much appreciated with whatever information can be provided.

Also, looking for wiring diagram for this vehicle. It is the 2014 Touring with Nav, Sun Roof, Bose stereo.

Personally, i would use an idatalink and hardwire the car, but for your simplicity sake, a fortin evo all would be best.

the unit of choice is good-reliable id say. I swear by compustar, so i like their 901ss. costly for sure however its a solid unit.

I don't mind hard wiring it. For the idatalink, would it be the ADS-ALCA? Is there anything I should be concerned about with this vehicle? I have ordered the service manual to look over the wiring, and will definitely be testing every wire.

This won't get done for another month at least (Too cold in NH), so I want to review as much as possible and be ready.

I use the BLADE-TB for transponder only. Equivalent is the ADS-TB or ADS-ALCA
If you choose to hardwire be mindful you require relays, diodes, and resistors.
If you use the evoall, you won't need to worry about the extra parts. A pro likes to hardwire, a driveway diy I would highly suggest you use the evo-all. Entirely up to you though

I actually used the resistors, diodes, and relays when I wired my 2004 Caravan back in the day. I don't mind doing it, but what is the benefit?
