I've been fighting with my install for about 2 days now. I installed the Avital and DBALL2 with soldered connections and RS function is working but the bypass module is not registering to the avital unit.

My Problems:

Avital Unit does not indicate when it is in D2D mode which should be a 5 blink signal on the led @powerup (no lights on powerup). I've grounded the WHITE/ blue wire to switch modes but never get any indication.

DBall2 will not learn the key. I've followed the procedure to get the bypass into program mode (hold program button while plugging in harnesses).

I've seen several that have also had issues getting the Avital into D2D mode.

Any thoughts are appreciated

A few thoughts :

Is the DB-ALL2 flashed with the correct firmware ( 402.CHRYSLER2 ) for your application?

I have seen that issue with Avital 4103's before.  The LED does not respond when trying to switch modes between ESP/Bitwriter and DBI D2D.
Not sure how to straighten it out.  For me, it wasn't an issue.  I used the Bitwriter to set the options and wired it up in W2W mode.  I have
found that W2W always works & is easier to troubleshoot.  It's worth the few extra minutes on the bench for the reliability it provides.

Soldering is fun!
