Really weird and annoying issues here.

2015 rogue pts with a viper remote start / alarm with an idatalink alca.

Sometimes the car remote starts/trunk will open.

And... Sometimes it just doesn't work... I don't think its the loop for the pts.

The remote start is wired to the electric lift gate directly.

It seems like the car is preventing the car from starting or lift gate opening.

Someone please help me out here!

There has to be a setting in the car that is making thr factory alarm or security from allowing me to start and open the lift gate.

Please anyone?

Here is one possibility ( note from iDatalink NI7 install guide, Page 8 of 8 )  :

IMPORTANT
All vehicle doors must be closed and locked prior to remote start sequence. Failure to comply will result in remote starter malfunction.

Soldering is fun!

Doors are definitely locked and closed.

Thank you for the input though.

It is so aggravating.
