Good day.I have read a lot about canbus and I have an idea on how it works and which vehicles use canbus systems.just that we are behind with canbus modules here in SA.I would like to know how it connects with the vehicle from the canbus alarm to the vehicles canbus system.is it a pluck that goes from the alarm to the vehicles OBD II pluck?where does it connect to.does it automatically just work after installation.does the canbus alarm work on all vehichles that has the canbus system.

Most of the answers are yes but not necessarily to the wires at the OBD, that would interfere with the dealership reading the OBD at a service.
There's a good article on the subject in Wikipedia, look up CAN and LIN data.

Amateurs assume, don't test and have problems; pros test first. I am not a free install service.
Read the installation manual, do a search here or online for your vehicle wiring before posting.
