Have a DEI 1900 G bypass module , but it does not explain how to program PK3 key to module. Is it self learning or are there steps for learning the key?

I have never used one of these, but the instructions don't indicate that it is a bypass module.
what are you trying to do?

Using an DEI range extender extend range. Connects to XLink data wire to operate doors, trunk and Factory Remote Start and has to be programed to accept transponder key or may be self learning upon start up? Says No Extra key needed, just 1 working key to program unit and unit will then learn and bypass key for remote start. No flashing required. Specific to 2005 and 2006 Gm Cars. Instructions are very sketchy.

The 1900G interfaces with specific GM Remote Start equipped vehicles. It converts the signals from the keyless entry, alarm, or remote start into signals that can be understood by the vehicles factory Data Bus system. This allows for interfacing with various factory options such as factory remote start, alarm and keyless entry. This unit can be used to interface using an aftermarket keyless entry, alarm or remote start or it can be used to add Directed® transmitters or 2 way transceivers to the OEM Remote Start.

Notes:
One key required for programming.

Turns out the 1900G is an immobilizer bypass. It uses data the same as the key fob to send data to the XLink wire to use the OEM remote start immobilizer. And interfaces with the doors and trunk. Very few wires to hook up and no flashing. Works great! To bad it only works on certain year cars.
