I am installing a remote start on a 94 chevy g20. Can I use a relay that only has pins. 86. 30. 85. And 87a. To convert a negative to positive for the locks. The relays I have don't have pin 87.

You need a 4 or 5 pin relay with 87. 87a denotes NC or normally closed,i.e. it's connected to 30 until the relay is energised, that's the opposite of what you want.
DEI 451 double relay module is what you want, if you're using DEI product it plugs straight in.

Use one for each direction (lock/unlock)
