No this isn't spam posted_image posted_image

I have noticed several DBALL2 RSR installs coming back over the last 6 months particularly in GM vehicles such as the cruze and the smaller SUVS where the DBALL2 needs the power removed and when plugged back in the unit resets itself, and all is well. However I have also noticed that when these units come in for service the DBALL is warm and in some cases extremely HOT to the touch. Fuses are installed and all connections are soldered. The ground is secured to a painted body surface with the paint removed obviously. I see no reason for the units to be getting hot. Has anyone else noticed this?

Had some problems with DB-ALL2 not getting power in conjunction with 5706 units, could there be a connection?

Amateurs assume, don't test and have problems; pros test first. I am not a free install service.
Read the installation manual, do a search here or online for your vehicle wiring before posting.
