OK, so I purchased the following
Viper 5706V
DBALL2
T-Harness
and misc sensors..

I have a 2011 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited.

I got everything installed and wired up per the documentation but it appears there may be discrepancy's in RSR / DBALL2 / Wiring.

It appears to me that the RSR is no longer supported by DBALL2 and that either the XL202 or the Smart Start has to be purchased?

Everything is working for me except the remote start... I have switched the 5706 into automatic mode VIA the menus and I get the 8 alerts indicating "Neutral safety wire has no ground or the neutral safety switch is Off" when I attempt to do remote start.

I have verified the safety switch is in the on position and that the BLACK/ white wire from the 24 pin aux harness is connected to ground with all my other ground wires.

Any ideas what I am doing wrong? Been beating my head against the wall for 2 days. Wiring information below.
Thanks!

Items below are what I connected

1. +12v constant from battery
2. Ground
3. Siren red wire

I am using the D2D port to a DBALL2 flashed with a standard install
Sensor 1 = Shock Sensor
Sensor 2 = 508d proximity sensor

Also connected the pink wire from the CHTHD2 t-harness to the pink / white wire of the ignition harness.

Additional notes:
When I attempt to remote start with just the DBALL2 using the 3x door lock, I get 7 red flashes on the DBALL2.
When I hook up the Viper 5706v and connect the D2D cable to the DBALL2 and attempt to do remote start with the viper remote I get 8 clicks from the Viper unit.

I would start with testing the switch. Make sure you have ground on both sides of it.

I believe Directed dropped support of the 3X lock remote start option last year.

The only thing I see wrong with your wiring is your use of the Vipers' Pink/White IGN2 Output wire for the connection to the CHTHD2
( R9 - R10 ) t-harness Pink wire. You need to use the solid Pink IGN1 Input/Output wire from the Viper for that connection.

Soldering is fun!

That is what I thought as well but I have seen conflicting info.

I did try connecting the pink wire from the t-harness as well. It did not work either.

Read that last one wrong, I have tried both combos.

pink wire from t-harness to pink/white
pink from viper to pink/white

and both connected. No combination seems to work.

8 flashes is the neutral safety.
Check that the BLACK/ White aux harness 24-pin is grounded.
Also that stand alone witch is grounding when turned on.

ok, now i got the 3X lock working on the DBALL2, now when I hookup the viper, I still get a 8 click error code. However the 3X still works from the stock remote.

Viper switch is ON, DBALL2 switch is off. I have removed the 10 PIN heavy gauge from the viper hookup (it shouldn't be needed since I believe the remote start command should be sent over the D2D to the DBALL2 for start)

Any ideas?

You only need the pink and the red on the heavy gauge, remove the plug and use fastons and a thinner gauge wire.
