Ok it's been years since I installed remote starts and alarms. I'm speaking way back. Anyways I could use some clearicfication if someone would be so kind. I searched the forum first with not a lot of help other than vehicles of newer years with bypasses etc. I am installing a 5806 in my car. It's a 94 volvo yes volvo 940 wagon carrying lots of JL equipment but nothing fancy as far as bypasses etc. I have the ability to enter all the programming features and valet mode as well as full Alarm and door locks. I keep getting a 7 flash Parking lights. Currently set for automatics and black and white is grounded and brown to brake switch. Green hooked to door switch but I believe it is positive excite switch. I have tried manual mode and auto as well as tach sense and virtual tach.on the 24 pin connector Other than the BLACK/ white to ground for parking brake and brown to 12 volt brake shutdown as well as green hooked to door switch or even ground completely and green disconnected is this thing looking for to allow the car to start. I'm guessing it is not getting 100 percent ok to run or even attempt shall I say. Any help would be greatly appreciative and PayPal ready for some good advice or will donate to the site. Thanks.

Green has to see a ground through a door trigger switch and yes the door switches ARE NEG (-) switching so green, don't use violet.
Got the tach connected to coil NEG (-)?
Programmed for tach and auto if it's an auto?
Tach learned?
All three fused wires on the heavy wire plug (H3) connected to a constant live?

Yes all three wires with fuses are hooked to constant 12 volt. The green wire is grounded for door locks as well as the BLACK/ white is earth ground. I did a search and I also have my vehicle wiring from alldata. Have tried tach learn in tach feature sense as as well as virtual tach. Brown to brake +. Have tried auto mode and manual and have same issue. Some of the heavy flex wires are not used. Could they need to see an ignition source for setting up from the key? Or maybe I'm missing something in the set up. All my features are default except for auto trans.

Not difficult with Volvos, they never used DIN (European) American, or Japanese wire colours. Except black for ground.
