Anyone done a remote start on one of these vehicles or am I waiting by the way side until firmware is released for this. The vehicle doesn't have a factory remote start.

No. Not too sure but the Euro versions, Focus, Mondeo Fusion) Kuga (Edge) with PTS don't need a pre=existing R/S

Oops you're quite right, it DOES require an OEM r/start.
