i was wondering if anyone can answer a few questions about the wiring.
do i need to connect the door trigger wires since im going to use a motion sensor? i basically want alarm to trigger if map light was to turn on or if vehical was gotten to close to or touched.and if im not concerend with the starter not functioning with alarm can i leave the orange wire unconnected? thanks

Yes you need to connect otherwise you won't be able to program the unit.
It won't trigger with the dome light if the door triggers aren't connected.
It might help if you followed the rules and told us what vehicle.

Not only am I supposed to be psychic and know what car, Viper don't list a 3150.
