2011 Chevy Silverado Remote Start install. Truck has power locks and a Factory Alarm.
Installed a Viper 4204 with a DB-ALL using the D2D method. Also used the RFLCHGM transponder loop.
This was a real easy install. The DB-ALL did TACH and brake signal. It also did the hood signal since there was a factory alarm.
Power, Ground, Horn, Ignition, Accessory, and one connection at the OBD were the only wires connected.
DB-ALL and the RFLCHGM programed 1st time no problems.

Good write up. I am only replying because I just realized Saturday that the distribution block was removable allowing easier access to the large RED / black RED / white power wires. I have been accessing them precariously through the subdash opening...PITA! LOL Oh well posted_image
