So pretty straight forward went from a viper 791vx to the newer 5906v I got every thing working so far except the door locks and unlocks
I had them working perfect before and tapped in the same 2 wires on the door lock relay

Any help here appreciated

Check your connections. Soldered or ?? Check that the connector is seated properly.

I would double-check the (-) outputs of the blue and green wires from the 3-pin connector.

Double-check with a DMM to make sure it's pulsing (-) out each time you arm/disarm.

The 791 has (had, in your case) (+) and (-) lock trigger outputs. The 5906 is (-) only. Because your locks don't work with the 5906 with no other changes, I suspect your locks are (+) trigger, and you will need to invert the lock output with relays, or use a lock module.

Unplug the 3 pin lock harness from the 5906. Measure the blue and green wires to ground with your VOM. If you see 0-Volts, the car is (+) trigger. If you see voltage (usually 12, but sometimes lower on newer cars) it's (-) trigger. Or post the Model and year of what you're working on, and we can look up the lock system type  instead of guessing.

Unplugged door lock harness rests at 0
Positive on lock 12v
Negative 12v on unlock

Using ttaps on this nod heat shrinks butt connectors on everything else except the ignition wires I soldered

The lock triggers are POS (+) use a 451 module or a pair of relays.

Ok I have 10 451 modules here I have only used them 2 times before my brain cancer and 400000 seizures my brain is damaged

1 will a 451 serve to work all 4 doors or do I need 2

2 wiring diagram for this

3 thanks if you need I can post from 96 fsm factory wiring diagram

4 can I plug the proximity sensor in the second port on this nrain next to the shock sensor with a dedicated power and ground

It took me to long solder all heavy gauges and power these are only 2 ttap the hood trunk tach and only one more butt connector I can't use my right arm and whole right side is in so much pain all the time

May I also ask on option for back up battery read a lot of negatives on the viper back up battery I bought I decided not to use

One module does all the doors. The 451 plugs into the 5906 lock port. The purple "double" with fuse goes to 12V constant hot. The GREEN/ blk and blue/blk are the outputs to the car's lock relay. The WHITE/ blk and brn/blk are not used.. https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/file.asp?ID=726

Yes plug in prox as you suggested, you have my sympathy, I'm 69 with bad arthritis, wrists and knees, BUT solder it. You will save multiple return trips wondering why things work one minute, fail the next..

Thanks I'll have my friend come solder it for me I did the other work when I could use the right side still now I'm in so much pain I haven't moved much for 6 days a trip to duke is coming Thursday so hope they have research study or something to get this cancer gone

Thanks for the inspections on the 451 and proximity and all the help

Is there a place for the 5906 programmers manual

I need to change the alarm length and output one and two are controlling 2 530t modules for the Windows there on the wrong setting

I keep getting the owners manual every where I look

Love this new remote not a huge fan of the antenna led and valet integration

Loved my ghost switch installs
