Hello
I heard Idatalink bypass Ads-ALCA TL6 alone can be installed and use as remote start to start the car using factory remote. Is that correct? Does anyone have a diagram for it?

This is for the EVO-ALL and since you do not need to have a login to configure the module (you will still need the FLU-100.2 if you want to change the options) it will be a better choice for end users.
I have used both and they are both solid installs. If you want the ADS guide just look it up on their website.

I did it. I flashed it and installed the bypass only. The car is now started with factory OEM remote :))

I just bought an RF kit from compustar RF-2W704-SH. I plugged in the data port on the brain of idatalink Alva. Nothing happens when I press any button on the new remote. The new led remote has the word "call" on it. What does that mean? And how do I make this work? Thanks

Did the remote kit have the RF decoder with it? Did you program the remotes to the vehicle?

This is what I got
Whats Included:
1x 2W704R-SH Remote (2-way LCD)
1x 1WSHR Remote (1-way)
ANT-2WSH Antenna
Antenna Cable
There is also a little loop wire with one end connector with 2 pin. I have no clue what it is. I can send you a picture through text if you have a phone #
I guess I have to buy the decoder? And I have not program the remotes yet.

The remotes don't come pre-programmed on that one, so they will need programmed first. It also says the ft-d100 is required and I know some of the remotes didn't come with it.

$58 online. I'd almost return the remote kit and get one that comes with it.

If you have the style with the decoder already inline then it's just 12v and ground.

I might have gotten one of these customers that extremely hard to deal with, or probably stupid
She complaints that the beeping sound on the 2way remote scares her and she wants me to return just the remotes from THE RF kit. I told her she can just use her one way controller or factory OEM and put away the 2-way remote as a back up.
She complaints that one particular radio station does not work after I installed the RF kit (she said the antenna interferes with the station). This is to be verified and I will have to find out what she meant.
She also told me, she talked to her friend, the Antenna from the RF kit supposed to be installed on the outside of the car, not inside that causes the problem with her ONE radio station.
Oh my my, I am speechless.
